A VR experience with band Linkin Park called Linkin Park Destination was announced during the PC Gaming Show Preshow.
The VR destination is powered by Spatialand and Intel and is a curated VR experience with the band. People can enter the destination through the Spatialland app to access the band’s music, interact with the band, sign up for contests, buy merchandise, and even unlock secret experiences and events created by the band.
The app will be available for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on July 27th, right when the band’s tour launches in the USA.
This isn’t the first time the band has embraced VR. Co-lead Vocalist Mike Shinoda’s side project Fort Minor, an American hip hop act, made a 360 music video for Welcome on multiple VR systems including Cardboard.
