Robert Gregory Bourdon (born January 20, 1979) is an american drummer, member and co-founder of the band Linkin Park.

 

Biography

Of Jewish descent and some fellow members of Incubus, spent his early years in Agoura Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles (from which the other two founders of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson).

 

He beganplaying drums at ten years old, after following a concert by Aerosmith (whose drummer Joey Kramer was a friend of the mother). At thirteen, he began to play for other groups, and in that time he met Brad Delson, with whom he formed the Relative Degree.

 

In 1996he was persuaded by his former high school classmate Jason Shinoda (Mike's younger brother) to join the Xero (current Linkin Park). Before you join the group, was a waiter.

 

Nowhe lives with his wife Susan in Los Angeles, where he established the band.
