Last month, Linkin Park’s bassist Phoenix released a new podcast called Member Guest, featuring golfer Brendan Steele and Linkin Park’s videographer Mark Fiore. Each week they bring new guests to talk about random things, and have had so far famous musicians and golfers, such as M. Shadows, Tré Cool, John Mallinger, and Charley Hoffman. This week’s episode features our own Mike Shinoda, where they talk about lots of things, including Mike’s Post Traumatic EP.

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda recently shared his first solo effort, the Post Traumatic EP, featuring three heartfelt new tracks and joined the lineup of this August's Summer Sonic Festival in Japan. Following the announcement, fans started a campaign to promote the record and try to get solo shows in their cities.

The band wonders about its future six months after the death of Chester Bennington. "I have every intention on continuing with Linkin Park and the guys feel the same. We have a lot of rebuilding to do, and questions to answer, so it'll take time." That was Mike Shinoda, recently, posted via twitter questioned by a follower on the future of band. The reference, of course, is what will be of Linkin Park without the charismatic Chester Bennington, who died suicide last July 20 in Los Angeles.

With the sudden death of his great friend and band mate Chester Bennington, Linkin Park multi-instrumentalist Mike Shinoda has experienced a difficult 2017.
