Linkin Park Design Livery for Mercedes-AMG GT3 Racing Car
Getting your name out there is half the battle for a lot of bands, and while Linkin Park are a very well known act at this point in their careers, they just found another way to reach audiences.
The band has teamed up with Mercedes to design a livery for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 vehicles that will debut at the upcoming 24 Hours of Spa.
The racing event takes place during the final week of July and the look of the Mercedes vehicle complete with Linkin Park design can be seen in the photo above. According to Carscoops.com, this
will be the first time in the Blancpain series AMG that Team Black Falcon will be getting a band’s attention. There will be eight Mercedes-AMG GT3s set to race in the 24 Hours of Spa, and Team
Black Falcon took home the top four spots during a similar event in Nurburgring earlier this year.
A few months back, Linkin Park traveled to the AMG Driving Academy to get acquainted with the vehicles.

The 24 Hours of Spa, the Mercedes AMG GT3 was branded by Linkin Park. The rock group (Chester Bennington, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn) are passionate about cars and Mercedes AMG has not missed an opportunity to present the latest model realized and did not want to miss the opportunity to personally present the vehicle designed specifically for the classic motorsport at Spa for the crowd of runners.
The band has been privileged to wave the checkered flag at the end of the GP. Linkin Park GT3 is based on the passion and cooperation between the house of the Star and the American band. The design of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Linkin Park, was produced by DJ Joe Hahn, who is a visual artist and director of many of videos of the iconic American band. The car has a mix of red and black colors on a silver basis, with the logo Linkin Park predominantly displayed on the long bonnet, showing enthusiasm of the musicians for motorsport. The race suits of the GT3 drivers Linkin Park correspond to the design of the car. Before his career as a musician, Hahn along with guitarist and keyboardist, Mike Shinoda studied art and graphic design at the "Art Center College of Design" in Pasadena, California.
Were eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the race the 24 Hours of Spa with the "Ardennes Roller-Coaster" at Spa-Francorchamps. Besides the three vehicles of the Black Falcon Team, the HTP Motorsport team also has three cars in the GT3 race. Field of AMG cars is completed by two vehicles of the French team Akka Asp. The 24 Hours of Spa is one of the great classics of motorsport. In addition it also has a great historical dimension for the AMG brand: 45 years ago, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG took first place in its class, and then enter the first milestone in the history of motorsport companies.
This is the second joint project between Mercedes-AMG and Linkin Park; the their collaboration began in 2015 with the motto "two phases - one passion." Both share a passion for top performance and perfection on the road and on stage. The American rock band and the sports car and the brand performance from Affalterbach intend to use their creative potential to capture fans around the world, with new ideas and projects. Recently, in June, the song Papercut Linkin Park provided the perfect music for the launch of the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
