Formed in Los Angeles in 1996 by
Chester Bennington (vocals), Mike Shinoda (vocals, keyboard), Brad Delson (guitar), Phoenix (bass), Rob Bourdon (drums) and Joe Hahn (turntables),the
Linkin Park impose themself in the narrow world of music, due to a mix of efficient melodies and power riff, wrote AllRock. Precisely for this reason the band has long been considered one of the
earliest and most influential soundtracks of the American nu-metal genre, which frankly except some ideas,we hardly hear to collocated them. The most appropriate dimension is perhaps an
"alternative hard-rock" with moments undoubtely very strong, incisive, experimental but far from the nu-metal labels as Korn. The labels then as always are
necessary only at the supermarket so everyone can rightly place Linkin Park "wherever fucking want".
The album of Linkin Park that has been most successful is definitely "Hybrid Theory", due to
great singles like "In the End" "Papercut" "One Step Closer" "Crawling" .Released in 2000, this is perhaps the most approaches nu-metal work that leading band to international success. This
success
has not gone to his head in Bennington and fellow able to each album, to pull off works always very interesting, from tour and featuring live perfomances of great importance. To note the
collaboration with rapper Jay-Z in 2004/2005 that gives the top of the charts thanks to the hit :"Numb/Encore".
